Common questions before you print your poster.
Do customers need an account?
No. They scan, type their name, and send. No app, no sign-up, no password. Only you need an account, so the files can reach your email.
Is the QR poster free?
No. The QR poster is a Plus feature, and that is the one thing you pay for. Making a list and sending a link to one person is free, 5 lists a month. Prices are in the plans above.
Can the next customer see what the last one sent?
No. Every scan opens a fresh list for that customer only. A file they send is only in your email and on their own phone.
Why not just print the normal link?
Because the normal link is for one person only. Once they finish, the next person sees “All done” and cannot upload anything. The QR poster uses a different link that works for everyone.
What does the poster look like, and who prints it?
You print it yourself, in A6, A4, or as a square sticker. It shows your shop’s name, the QR code, the link written out, and the list of documents. One button on the screen where you made the list.
What if someone photographs my poster?
They see the same page your customers see: the list and a box for their name. It shows no email, no code, and no other customers. One poster can start at most 30 lists a day, and you can turn it off from your page at any time. After that, the QR code stops working.
How do I tell one customer’s files from another’s?
By name. Each customer gets their own row on your page, under the name they typed, showing what has arrived and what is missing. Files are never mixed.
Can I change the list later?
Yes. Change the list, and every scan after that shows the new list. The QR code stays the same, so the poster on your wall still works.
How long is the list kept?
30 days from the day you made it, or 90 days on the month plan. Then it is deleted. The files are never kept at all. Each one goes straight into an email to you, and Fylevia keeps no copy.
